Berwick recently purchased Schulte Oil Company of Baileyville.  Berwick Co-op Oil Company provides bulk unleaded, ethanol, farm diesel and CLR road diesel fuel delivery, as well as 20-pound bottle-filled propane delivery.  Mobile and Conoco lubricants are also offered.
Founded in 1928, Berwick Co-op Oil Company is a $2.8 million enterprise, according to Jim Kaeb.
Berwick is one of the two remaining fuel-only cooperatives left in the state of Kansas.  It is 100 percent owned by its shareholders in common stock, Kaeb said.
One of the newest products at Berwick Co-op Oil Company is two-percent bio soy diesel.  "This is helping the soybean growers," Kaeb said.
